Kidsgrove Residents Council Tax Increases |

It is that time of the year again where the council tax bill has been decided and we in Kidsgrove will be paying 6p more, per household on average over the next year for the services which Kidsgrove Town Council provides. This money is used to cover a whole host of local expenses; however this rise is in addition to anything requested from NBC and SCC. |

Cllr Astle Claims Councillors in Charge of Railways? |

According to the "Kidsgrove Labour News" which all local residents must have now have received (mine came Tuesday), it appears that Cllr Margaret Astle is claiming that British Rail was sold off by councillors. Clearly this must be a underhand policy from Cllr Astle to increase the local decision making away from parliament and to the humble home of Kidsgrove Town Hall. |
