It is comming up to that time of the year when we get asked to cast our vote at local elections. This year it is the Newcastle Borough elections, so these are the people who meet in Newcastle and decide how your money is spent over the whole Borough. These people control street cleaning, parks, gardens etc - however not the highways which is a Staffordshire County Council job.

Following action from Cllr Mary Maxfield it appears that the series of pot holes which had been annoying many regular drivers from Whitehill to Kidsgrove have now been fixed. It was noted that the smaller holes had been filled the other day, however Cllr Maxfield told our forum boards that she was going to visit the site manager to get this matter sorted - clearly it has been.

We would advise calling the service as following an investigation by Whitehill Online we have found that many roads in Kidsgrove are not listed on the system.
