 Post subject: Jumpy Screen

Hi hope someone can help, when i use the mouse or keys to scroll down the screen, it is not smooth anymore. It jumps and is killing my eyes. So hard to explain - i hope someone understands me!!!!

Sounds like a shortage of memory to me. You could have too many programmes running or be using Vista. The latest update really seems to have broken many computers - including mine when it just freezes or jumps.

If you hold down "control + alt + del" and then click task manager you can see all the programmes running. If this list is long then try stopping some of them and see if this helps. Be careful not to stop Windows system files.

I have this sometimes when the scrreen shudders in places and I have to close everything and start again. it is only happening in the internet though so it is annoying.
