New Park Finally Appears!
Summer MonthsThe new park looks fantastic and is sure to please many local children and parents who have had to endure the whole of last summer with no local park. This summer lets hope that not only do the children have use of the park, but also of a cricket wicket which was provided during late summer last year. CricketThe wicket last year was installed after Kidsgrove Councillor Mary Maxfield was asked by local young people if it was possible to have cricket facilities. Kidsgrove Police also provided cricket equipment which could be used by people wishing to hear the sound of leather on willow. one promised for summer 2004 has finally appeared.
